Belly dancing is believed to be one of the oldest dances in the world. Although it originated in the Middle East, belly dancing has evolved into a dance that draws influences from all around the world. There are many styles of belly dance. Every style is different and very skilled.

Belly dancing is a dance which celebrates the female form and femininity. The dance itself focuses on the female form, particularly the hips and abdomen. The movements are emphasised by the hips, spine, shoulders, stomach and torso. Muscle and body isolations make up a large part of the dance.

There are many benefits of belly dancing for women of all ages, shapes and sizes. It is a wonderful way of keeping fit and healthy and can help you relax. The intense muscle work out helps to tone your body and improve flexibility and posture.
